Like the other poster, I got ghosted!!! First time this ever happened with any of the Thumbtack vendors. After he gave me a verbal estimate for the tall shrub pruning, he immediately texted me about who does my regular lawn maintenance. When I texted him that I already have someone, that's when he may have decided it wasn't worth his time to do a one-time pruning job. What he didn't know was that I have multiple projects in the pipeline and that when someone shows up for a small project and does a fabulous job I usually give them many more afterwards. Anyway, I lost my entire Sunday AM waiting for him and lost the chance to invite another landscaper in the meantime...
