I recently engaged the services of this real estate photographer and I must say, the experience was far from satisfactory. On the positive side, the turnaround time was commendably fast and the images were acceptable in quality. However, it seemed as though there was no professional editing or touch-up done, making the photos appear as if they were taken with a regular cell phone.
The major issue lies in the aspect ratio of the pictures. The photos delivered were close to a 2:1 ratio (19.5:9 to be exact), which is not the industry standard for real estate photos. Many of the pictures lacked essential details in vertical direction, such as ceilings or floors, which are crucial for potential renters to get a complete view of the property.
When I requested photos with the standard aspect ratios of 4:3 or 3:2, I was told that their standard practice was to take pictures in the ratio they provided and that any changes would require cropping. This resulted in a field of view similar to what one would get from an iPhone‘s main camera, not the wide-angle one, which is not ideal for real estate photography.
Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, the photographer refused to acknowledge the problem and insisted that they were doing the right thing. This lack of flexibility and unwillingness to meet customer needs is disappointing.
I have attached a few pictures for potential customers to judge for themselves（e.g. original vs cropped). I regret to say that I cannot recommend this service based on my experience.
