FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To keep up with digital photography you must continue to educated yourself in all the latest information. I continue to take a Photoshop class each month. I am also the President of the Lakewood Ranch Digital Photo Club with over 100 members and teach a continuing education class for members on all aspects of photography. I am also an active member of BPPA, (Bay Professional Photographer's Association) that offers continuing education for members at each meeting.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my photography involves people and making them look their absolute best in a photograph. No matter if is business headshot, a portrait or a wedding, eveyone wants to look their best. I interview my clients before taking the photo to determine how the photo will be used. Then knowing how to properly pose, properly light and finally properly retouch the person insures the photo will be the best.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advise to anyone hiring a professional photographer: 1.Is the photographer a member of a professional photographer's association or just an amateur? 2. Does the photographer have the proper equipment to do your photography: camera, lighting, Photoshop? 3. Does the photographer have a website that shows their quality of work. 4. Does the photographer's style match with what the client wants in a photograph.
