Samantha J. says, "Kristen is an absolute gem of a home organizer! I had been struggling postpartum after having my twins (and even before, let's be honest) with organization and putting systems in place at home that make sense to help also being responsible for two tiny humans. Kristen is kind, empathetic, and makes you feel inspired to “just do it!” -- no excuses! Kristen came in and immediately was able to focus on our most important areas to clear out and find solutions for areas I didn’t even realize were problematic. We immediately got to work and she was instrumental in helping us make decisions on what were things to go and what we needed to organize to make our space easy to utilize to its full potential. We focused on these three areas first: kitchen and adjoining organization (pantry closet), master bedroom, and our kids’ playroom that is also where their clothes are, due to the location of their actual bedrooms not being ideal to keep clothes in their own rooms for their age. I can now reach things more easily, cook and easily see what spices we already have and what needs to be restocked, and our junk drawer is no more (RIP, junk drawer!) In our bedroom, I realized that I was not using spaces very well either, and Kristen’s support helped us with the overall flow of our room with our furniture, eliminated many drawers that had little treasure troves of items that needed to move on or be better organized, and created more space for our clothes in more functional spaces. Our toy room has improved by leaps and bounds, our toddlers can now see things visually and have become more motivated to help us with cleaning up because they can easily see where their toys live now, and they enjoy organizing too-- unless they REALLY want to keep that marble run or car track out, of course. Every time Kristen has come over, both my husband and I (and kids) have experienced a big rush of “Let’s do this!” and have made more and more progress to organize and improve our house systems to make sense and have them work for us. I highly recommend Kristen -- when you work with her, you will find your progress contagious-- even after she leaves, you will find some room or nook to declutter and make better than it was. She has great recommendations on what to prioritize and plenty of cost-effective options when getting new systems set up, and great design taste. I hope you have the pleasure of working with Kristen too! I didn’t take many before/after photos, so make sure you do that so you can appreciate the difference even more, but here are a few “after” shots I found of one area. Now…to declutter and organize my camera roll…"See more
