I’m Lauren Friedauer and I’m a storyteller. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been telling stories. I used to dream of being an author when I was little, writing short stories and poetry. Over time, words became photos and videos. From the moment I got my first camera in high school, I fell in love with capturing moments big and small whether it was sports, music, people, or places.
I graduated from San Francisco State University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in filmmaking. Since then, I’ve worked as a content creator for organizations as well as my own freelance business. Photo or video, social media or long form content, it doesn’t matter.
All I want to do is tell your story.

Lauren is incredible at what she does! She takes a creative and natural approach that allows her to capture emotion in each photo— which is such a gift! I love the pictures we got back from Lauren and am excited to have her take pictures for other big moments!

Lauren is INCREDIBLE! We could not have asked for a more talented videographer. She's so easygoing, fun to work with, and is just an awesome human. Not to mention she's insanely talented and gave us the most special gift - our wedding video that we will cherish forever. She captured all of the sappy parts of the day, the energy of all of our people together, the joy and love in the room, and so much more. Couldn't recommend Lauren enough!!!! Book her before all of my friends fill up her schedule ;)
