Mike was the BEST to work with. Pricing was significantly better than large corporate companies. We just bought a house and didn’t even know anything about radon. We had a large crawl space his team sealed up and they installed the radon mitigation quickly within a few hours. We really enjoyed working with Mike for our radon mitigation project. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and flexible with our schedule. We had the situation that we might have to run the mitigation through our patio area, something that wasn’t ideal. He figured out a way better plan to go through our garage from the crawl space and use existing roof vents to eliminate the need to tear into the roof. We were able to avoid the hassle and ugliness that could have occurred. When he was finished with the project he gave us a quick tutorial, things to look out for, etc. He really does treat his projects like he is doing it for his own home. I can not speak highly enough of him and his work and will be recommending him to anyone and everyone for their radon mitigation.

Just how a home project should be done. Mike is responsive, responsible and knows his stuff. I was traveling out of town and we worked it out for him to use the lockbox key for entry. He came on time, installed the Radon mitigation system. Sent me pictures of the completed job and we worked out a time for payment. I will hire him again for sure but then I wouldn't need his Radon expertise because he warranties his work for 30 years.

Mike Todd of Advanced Radon Solutions came to our home to assess our radon mitigation issue. He was able to come one day after my initial contact with him. He assured me there were options we could take which would be more cost effective than a brand new system which I really appreciated. Overall, Mike is a great guy to work with. Personable and knowledgable about what goes into the process. He made sure I was aware of any changes to the plan and kept me informed the entire time.
The 'average' rating hits on a few key points:
- An after-mitigation radon test is not included with his work. His team did do work in my crawl space, but I have no way of telling if it does anything to mitigate the radon. After looking back at comparable quote from another company, I realized that they included the test in the work. This was a huge differentiator that I missed when looking for quotes.
- Punctuality was not necessarily a strong suit here. From the initial inspection, the earliest date that he could start work on this was a month away. Not sure this is typically, but for a job that takes a few hours to do, I don't see why there was such a big backlog.
