MJB services (Mike and his partner, Bobby) did an amazing and expansive amount of electrical work on our older 5000+sqft home. They retro-fit installed many switches, outlets, in-ceiling speakers, ceiling fans, and recessed lighting. They did an excellent job minimizing drywall work. They also added power and low-voltage to a brick fireplace for a seamless fireplace-mounted TV. This work spanned nearly 6 full-time days. The job was billed as time+materials. The price was extremely competitive. Their up-front time/cost estimate was extremely accurate. Their time accounting for the project was extremely fair and honest. Diane Thompson says, "Installed a Back-Up Generator & New Electrical PanelTom at Karisma did a beautiful job upgrading our vintage 1969 electrical panel to current safety standards and to accommodate a new natural gas-fueled stand-by home generator. The work was very extensive. Tom took the time and focus to do it right. The job took longer than either Karisma or we expected. The natural gas plumbing for the generator failed on 1st inspection--something that we could have helped avoid. So there were a couple of hiccups but we are assigning a full five stars because the work was VERY high quality. We received another bid from a well-established competitor and are SO GLAD we chose Karisma!"See more
