Upon requesting service online, Ricardo called me back within about 5 minutes and I described the issues that we were having with the printer HP 7740 Office printer that prints 8.5” x 11” and 11” x 17”, a workhorse of a printer; as one of the print cartridges magenta self-ejected, within the printer, and leaked the ink all throughout the printer. Ricardo replied with pretty much the scope of the issue and repair that may be required. We cleaned up some of the ink and replaced the cartridges that were contaminated. We set up the appointment for Saturday morning at 10:00 am, and Ricardo follow-up with a call the day before confirming the date & time and address of the appointment.
Morning of the appointment Ricardo called and confirmed the time he would arrive 10:00 am. he arrived at 10:00 am. Excellent!
Ricardo looked over the HP printer, and removed the print cartridges and printhead, and cleaned the entire inside of the printer cartridge and printhead assembly and the inside of the printer, he also cleaned and lubricated the printer and paper path pinch rollers. Ran some test and alignment print test pages, and all looked great!
