As a design professional, but with a real estate and lending additional background - I am able to assist in the entire process for a cohesive plan that meets your particular needs. We help you to look all the way around the problem - from the initial planning, through the budgeting aspects, through lending sources... putting the real estate broker hat on, we will help you keep the final product within range of the market in case you are looking to sell, or if you just want to make sure you don't "overbuild" the market. We will even help you look at alternatives to remodeling - in example a sell / re-buy or hold/buy - or even a sell / build model. Ask me about specifics! I am a licensed architect in another jurisdiction and we have California licensed architects and engineers on our team.

Jim helped with drawing up existing plans and remodel suggestions for a potential room addition. When I met him for the first time I knew he would be a good fit. Very knowledgeable and straight to the point. He was very helpful. After our first meeting we did not set anything up right away because we were not quite ready financially to move forward but when the time came he was they guy. He provided the drawings and plans in the promised time. He goes above and beyond in terms of service. Very easy person to work with. Any project big or small he will treat it the same way. We are currently determining our budget for the project to see if we can move forward. If we do we will be contacting Jim directly. His quality of work and service has been outstanding so far.

I have recently had the pleasure of working with Jim Ventura from Pacific Southland on my home addition project in Huntington Beach. He could not have made the process any easier. He made several visits to my home to review my own design needs as well as applying his own ideas of what would work best for my allowable square footage and to most importantly stay within my construction budget. Not only did he provide me CAD drawings of what I was looking for in my floor plan but also his own variations to make sure I was seeing all of my available options. I have spent nearly 20 years working in the construction industry and have a good understanding of quality service and professionalism. He provides a great service and I would definitely give him my highest recommendation. Jim Ventura has been nothing but a pleasure to work with. If you are looking for someone to be straight forward with you and help you come up with a solution that makes sense for your project while considering your budget then I would highly recommend considering Jim for your project. Jim was super attentive to my project and I feel worked way beyond the scope of our initial terms. From working with the city to modifying our design, Jim was there to make it happen. We offer a fixed fee for a specific set of standard services, and a time and materials approach when the direction on the project is not yet decided. Hourly rates on residential projects are at reduced rates.
