I booked Richard Hartog for a workshop at The Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica.I was looking for a photographer that could capture the mood of the event and tell a story through the images taken at the workshop. I was incredibly impressed with the work that Richard produced in his portfolio and contacted him regarding this event. In the initial calls Richard was very open and communicative. He told me exactly what I would be getting with his service and thoroughly explained the process. As a result, he was contracted to cover a 6-hour span of my event and in that he captured the true emotion of my guests. From the time I began working with Richard to the time he delivered our photos, Richard was genuine, professional, accommodating, helpful, and eager. He understood the nature of the event and the results we were hoping to obtain. Richard arrived early at the event and stayed through the duration of the event, even past what was contracted. He came dressed professionally and with a positive attitude ready to be a part of the event. During the event he moved throughout the room to capture different angles and guests. He was very attentive to the flow of the event and to the reactions of the Guests. He was consistently in the right place to capture the important aspects of the event and was constantly shooting. Following the event, Richard quickly provided a gallery of images to look through from the event. The quality of the images were great! They captured what was needed and desired. Richard followed up quickly with the contracted images chosen and I was able to use them in all of my follow up event materials. I am greatly impressed with the quality of work, Richard's persona, and professionalism. I would highly recommend the use of this photographer for your future event.

Josh is not only a very talented photographer, but he is also professional, responsive and has a high work ethic. I reached out to Josh a day before we needed photography services and he immediately got back to me. It was an amazing experience having Joe and his assistant as our photographers for our son's first birthday party at Marine Park. They are super nice and friendly, professional, responsive, and punctual. They listened to us, did just as what we asked for, that is, around 70% photos for our family and at least several for the each guest. Photo quality is fantastic and fine tuned. Courtney did an amazing job photographing my daughter’s 4th birthday party! We recently moved here from NY and did not know any Santa Monica based photographers so we are very thankful we came across Courtney’s profile. She was such a joy to have at the event and over the top friendly and helpful. There were about 40 kids under the age of 5 at the party so lots of chaos and we loved being able to enjoy playing with them and the event instead of chasing everyone around snapping photos on our phones. Courtney did a great job marrying our desire to get lots of fun candids of all the kids and still find time to clear some space for photos of just the birthday girl and family. Her turnaround time was extremely quick (we received all the edited photos just 2 days later!) and the final shots turned out amazing! The lighting is vibrant and bright - perfect party day photos! She did a great job capturing the day and we are already discussing what we will hire her for next.
