If you are experiencing problems with your gas fireplace insert, contact Nick RIGHT NOW! Our Heat & Glo brand insert had been inoperative for 3 years and I had pretty much given up hope of repair based on horrible experiences with three other 'technicians' (including the local Heat & Glo dealer). Whereas the other so-called technicians charged me $99 - $195 just to show up and then upsell me to replace the entire system, Nick quickly assessed the problem, showed me what the issue was, and then repaired the unit during the same visit. Less than one hour after arrival, our gas insert was again working. Hooray! In the all too common 'Bay Area Rip Off' vendor landscape, Nick is an honest professional that deserves to succeed. I give him my highest possible recommendation.
