I generally do not write poor reviews, but I feel it’s necessary in this case. My work with Jen was extremely disappointing. I hired her to run Google Ads for my business, and I feel she misrepresented her experience with them. After 8 weeks of running unsuccessful ads, I discovered that she was running the wrong ad type for my business. Subsequent research and consultation confirmed with 100% certainty that the ad type she chose to run would never be recommended for my profession or population because you cannot refine it to meet a local niche audience (only 40% of the web traffic the ads generated was located the state in which I am licensed to practice, and of that it's impossible to know how many of those users are in need of my service because there are no available metrics for the ad types.) As a result I spent over $1000 in unsuccessful ads and $1250 in fees to her to monitor the ads. The correct campaign would likely have resulted in multiple customers in that time with that expense, so the loss was exponential. In the very least, it would have provided all the data we would have needed to modify the campaign for success. After 8 weeks we had no data because the ad type does not monitor cost per click, conversion rate or audience. The set-back was devastating, and the mistake was egregious. Instead of owning up to the mistake, admitting to her lack of knowledge in this area of marketing and trying to make it right, she insisted that she had done nothing wrong. She then invoiced me for $2000 for the remaining time left on my contract when I terminated our work together, which I felt spoke to her character and professionalism. If you enter into a contract with Jen, please ensure you have an out-clause, because she will not take responsibility if she damages your business.
