I had a great initial consultation meeting with Robyn and she described the mediation process to the be quick and easy, if both parties are in agreement with each other, which we were. I paid in full for 3 hours per person, which came out to $750. We came prepared with all income and expenses broken down for her, in addition to how we were to split up our assets. After our first meeting, we left not feeling confident that she’d be able to handle our case. She didn’t know nor did she have any professional recommendations for how to handle our retirement distribution, she didn’t seem to know how to file a response, and we felt like we were the ones who had to do most of the legwork. I found another mediator who made this process easier and less stressful for us, and when I asked for a refund of unused hours, she never replied. So, I basically just threw away $750. If you are looking for an experienced and trustworthy mediator, look elsewhere!
