Gary is a USTPA certified coach and coaches both boys and girls tennis at a local Bay Area high school. He is giving my daughter tennis lessons and has been excellent to date. He has a clear vision on what he wants his students to learn, but also allows for some flexibility in the overall approach. In my daughter's case, he's working with her on having a shorter back stroke when preparing for forehands and backhands. He gave her the option of working more on strategy and keeping her existing forehand and backhand stroke fundamentals in place, or working on modifying and improving the mechanics of both of those strokes. She wanted to improve on mechanics, so that's what she is working on now. I'd highly recommend Gary.
