Tony was straightforward from the get-go, his quote was fair and he made the effort to understand our job and our needs. He repaired a shear wall and knew the importance of doing it right. He was also personable and prompt. He got the job to our standards and we are happy with results.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It can be very difficult to glean the full scope of work and the cost from just a brief description. It is best for both me and the client if I provide them with a proposed project site visit. Please understand that that my time, Thumbtack charges, and fuel costs can be substantial. I do not charge for a site visit so please keep this in mind when selecting a contractor. Neither one of us wants to waste the others time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listen, Listen and Listen some more. What I think may be a great idea may not be what the customer envisions. I like to play detective and look at the client's home to get an idea of the style that best suits them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 40 years' experience in the construction and woodworking trades.
