Our door got kicked in to allow paramedic access during a medical emergency—not quite what you want to come home from the ER to—so we had to scramble to find someone to repair the damage, re-hang and possibly replace the door.
Thru a quick search, we found Thumbtack and Vlad, our hero in this story. Vlad responded within the expected time with a reasonable quote, then arranged to come view the project. He arrived on time and was courteous, professional, and honest. The price was a little higher than the initial quote, due to additional materials needed—our frame is more of a custom job—but Vlad was upfront about the price and it seemed reasonable given what we were asking. He was also able to correct damage to our deadbolt, which prevented us from having to buy a whole new lock/handle fixture. We were also able to use the same door, which is not standard size and would have definitely inflated the cost of the project.
Vlad arrived on time on the morning of the repair and completed everything within about 3 1/2 hours.
My favorite part tho, is when I was looking over the project, I noticed Vlad admiring his handiwork. This man takes his jobs seriously, works with pride and I would go so far as to say, he’s an artist.
There is no reason to hire anyone else for your job. Stop looking now, and hire Vlad, you will not be disappointed!!

Raman was great. Punctual , confident in his work and very respectful. He came with all his tools and worked diligently to set up our barn door. We are very pleased with the final result and Ramans quality of work. He also brought in a vaccum to clean up after which was another mark of his high quality of work. It was easy to work through the language barrier via Google Translate and it did not effect the final output at all, which was excellent.
