I found Ron on Thumbtack originally to remove the popcorn ceiling in our garage and then paint the garage as well.
Ron did great work, was great to communicate with, and charged very fair prices.
I was so happy with the work that I immediately had Ron start work on building a new wall and door in our office which also came out well.
Highly recommend.

I hired Nick to remove the popcorn ceilings in my new house. From the start, Nick was quick to respond to my request for a quote. When we met at my house for him to look at the job, he gave me a good sense of what needed to be done and was incredibly friendly. The ceilings had been painted. So, he took great care to make sure that he didn't mess up the wall paint while he was pulling down the painted popcorn. While the work took longer than he originally estimated (5.5 days instead of 3), the ceilings looked great and he came over to touch up a few spots I noticed. The only downside was that the process itself is very messy. Even though Nick cleaned the floors, we have had to mop a few times to get up the dust. I did appreciate that he power washed my driveway to remove the inevitable white dust that comes with the removal of the ceilings. Nick does great work at a good price, and I would (and have) recommend him again.

I highly recommend RJ’s Painting & Drywall. They removed the popcorn ceilings from my entire house and did an incredible job. From the beginning when I reached out to them, Ron communicated quickly and kept me updated on their progress. The ceilings are beautiful! Ron quickly solved any issues that they encountered with my old house. They ensured everything was accessible each evening when we got home, and worked in sections that made it easy to live in the house while they were working.

If you want a reliable company that has professional communication DO NOT use this company. I have been trying to schedule popcorn ceiling removal for 3 weeks now and the owner came by my place for a quote/estimate for the work. We had scheduled and agreed on the amount for the job. He messages me less than a week before the job and says "Sorry we can't do the job anymore" without any explanation. Again, do not hire them if you actually want work to be done. This owner can't be trusted to keep his word or actually have good communication with his customers.
