I'm a HandyMan and work under the AZ Guidelines of such. I'm knowledgeable in most things, can reasonably & responsibly figure out most other things, and will let you know if things are beyond my pay-grade...I blame being a Boy Scout & Marine for my forth-rightness.
A note regarding my less than 4 star reviews: Not one of those people did I do any work for and only one did I actually meet (you'll be able to know which if you read the reply ;-) The others, 3 I think, we're ones where I failed to communicate in the time they expected or failed to make a note in my calendar; I chalk that up to my upbringing and my general dislike for planning (however, I'm working on it everyday and you can see by the overwhelming positive reviews, I'm getting real successful ;-)
In all seriousness, it's never by design that I've let someone down. Call me, text me (I give everyone my cell #). I hate looking like a failure (I have a looking good and being handy complex); I'll jump through hoops to make it right. I like to do business via text (although appreciate a personal call at least once to get a sense of who we each are - you're inviting me into your home - You should feel comfortable about it). However, the main reason for text is that we then both have a hard copy of our agreements (unless you've forgotten, the only negative reviews I've had is for lack of planning - "help me, help you...help me,...help you!" ;-)
