FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Head shot photography done at my studio is a flat $300.00 per person. The shoot is edited into an unprocessed proof set and hosted online for the clients viewing/selection. The client then selects their top image(s), which is provided as a processed high resolution color file, a high resolution B&W file, as well as two small, resized images ready to be dropped into social media. Images come with a non-transferable license. Additional files are available at $75 each. Location indoors head shot photography starts at $400, and location outdoors head shot photography starts at $475. For corporate clients, I stagger the priced based on the number of same-day subjects we photograph: Indoor Location: $400 subjects 1-5, $375 subjects 6-10, $350 subjects 11-15, $325 subjects 16-20 ... Outdoor location: $475 subjects 1-5, $450 subjects 6-10, $425 subjects 11-15, $400 subjects 16-20 ... Usually each job is a specific set of needs and parameters, so it's best to let me know what you need and I can craft a quote based on that.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Studio head shot sessions are usually conducted at my photography studio in Nashua, NH. I ask clients to plan on a session lasting an hour and a half to two hours. This gives us time to chat, get more relaxed and allow good time to create superb photography. If possible, I invite any future-client to visit my studio in advance, just so we can connect. It helps break the ice and makes things a little more comfortable on the day of the actual session.
