- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Tongue and groove is different than a lock and fold floor for difficulty. Also glued, staple are different pricing as degree of difficulty. also if room if square it would be easier than a hallway that requires precision cutting of door jams.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customer decided on flooring and then contact me through app. I will respond quickly and ask questions about type of flooring, profile whether lock and fold (click) or tongue and groove. How many square feet etc. Then call or video chat to go through the details of costs and site needs such as transition pieces.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
11 years in many roles such as Technical Manager for engineered flooring company. I would support installers with advice on proper installation technique and specifications.
