We recently hosted my husband’s team—18 people in total—for an evening of cocktails and charcuterie in our condo. With a small space and a big crowd, I was a bit anxious about managing it all without extra help. I’m so grateful I found Hilary on Thumbtack! She responded to my inquiry right away, was incredibly easy to communicate with, and immediately put me at ease about the event. From the moment she arrived—early to assist with setup—her professionalism and positive energy stood out. Hilary curated a selection of specialty cocktails, complete with homemade syrups and beautiful fruit skewers. What impressed us most was how self-directed and flexible she was, effortlessly handling the limited space while serving drinks to everyone without missing a beat. Beyond her impressive bartending skills, Hilary’s lively, personable demeanor added so much warmth to the gathering. She was incredibly accommodating, happily crafting any cocktail our guests requested with ease and a smile. What truly set her apart was her willingness to really "host" with and for me; after we left for dinner, she stayed behind to tidy up, take out the trash, etc so that we returned to a clean space. It was the perfect end to an already fantastic evening. If you’re looking for a bartender who is talented, reliable, adaptable, and a genuine pleasure to work with, Hilary is the one. She played a huge role in making our event special, and we can’t wait to hire her again!

Hilary and company were fantastic! The unique drinks created for our company holiday event were a hit and had everyone talking. The energy was high all evening and they both were SO helpful with engaging with guests, cleanup, and all those small details you don't think about! From the shopping list to taking the trash out -- we're so happy with this service and would absolutely hire Skal Cocktails again!
