FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing and Estimate Fees: Job costs vary by job requirements. Death-defying, very hard, or dangerous work costs a little more, while easier jobs can cost less. I often work under Time and Materials (CostPlus) agreements for flexibility and transparency. I also provide flat-rate quotes and pricing. There are no markups on supplies or materials. You only pay for the actual cost of the supplies used. If your project is billed hourly, I charge for the time it takes to pick up and deliver materials. Depending on your location, a travel fee may apply. Service Call Estimate Fee: A service call estimate fee may be required for larger or more specialized contractor services to provide a professional, detailed quote. This fee varies based on: The type and complexity of the work. The size or scope of the project. Accessibility and location. Whether special tools or inspection methods are needed. If you see “Service Fee is waived if hired” in the service description, it means a fee is due at the time of the on-site estimate visit, but that amount will be credited toward your final invoice if you move forward with the job. Paid estimates are prioritized for quick turnaround times. During the estimate visit: I arrive at your home for a detailed project inspection. We go over your goals, ideas, and job requirements. I assess the area, take photos, and make notes. You provide payment for the estimate fee (via check or credit card). I begin preparing a flat-rate quote tailored to your project. I also offer military, senior, and disabled discounts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Due to the high volume of phone calls and marketing spam, I prefer that customers requesting assistance fill out the Contact US form on our website or leave a message with my secretary. I will contact you as soon as possible if I can assist you. Sometimes, we get booked up and are only available after a period of time. Once a customer is in my phone contacts, they can contact me anytime. From there, we can schedule a time for a simple estimate or begin a job. Often, I can start the job immediately, but sometimes, we may need to plan the date to begin.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a skilled and experienced professional in the construction industry, I have completed an extensive OSHA training course and obtained certification in lull and man-lift operations. With years of experience dating back to my teenage years, I have honed my abilities as a sub-contractor, consistently delivering high-quality work at a rapid pace. As a general contractor, remodeler, and handyman, I continue to uphold this standard of excellence, completing projects quickly and to the highest level of quality. My extensive knowledge of home repairs and improvements allows me to tackle a wide range of projects with confidence and proficiency. As a young subcontractor doing piece work, I always had to provide extremely high-quality work at an exceptionally fast pace. As a General Contractor, Remodeler, and Handyman, I still work at a very quick pace, provide outstanding quality, and have vast knowledge of Home Repairs and Home Improvements.
