FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For commercial photography, my pricing starts at my base creative rate. This rate includes a full day's worth of shooting & usage for Web + Social/PR, In-Store Territory, & Print for Lookbook. Once we connect and get a complete aspect of your project, I create an estimation of your project expenses, added to my base rate! For Portrait sessions, I charge by hourly sessions, including Photography, Pre & Post Production (Planning, Culling, Proofing, Editing), Travel, Client Meeting & Admin. Any products or services a client would like to purchase will be added to the session fee. These products & services include physical albums, books or CDs, studio rentals, & prints.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get a good talk with my clients when it is the first time we meet. Doing this will give me a good understanding of who they are and what they want to achieve during the shoot. I also like to walk them through what I can offer to know that what they want to achieve can become possible. I love to do this because it creates relationships, making the shooting process a breeze, and doesn't confuse the client's needs and goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self-taught photographer and have been shooting photography for over five years. I have learned from several professional photographers on various workshops and courses on-location and online. I'm currently in an apprenticeship with a local Seattle real estate photography company for four months.
