- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
* 50% Non-Refundable Retainer Fee Required At Time Of Booking * Payment Policy 50% down as a non-refundable retainer fee to reserve your time slot, with the remaining balance due before the start of your session. Time slots cannot be reserved without the 50% retainer fee. Clients can pay in full right away if you choose as well. Client's are invoiced through PayPal via email, (a PayPal account isn’t required). A receipt of payment received is then emailed to clients. Rescheduling & Cancellations Our time is valuable, and so is yours. If you’re late for your session, you lose that time. If you don’t show, you’ll still be charged in full. In turn, we promise to honor our appointments and be on time as well. This affects how many other clients we can take on. With less than 72 hours notice or for no-shows, payments will not be reapplied. With more than 72 hours advance notice, your headshot session may be rescheduled within 30 days of the originally scheduled session. In the event of a second rescheduled session, there will be an additional $100 fee to retain a date. A paid deposit constitutes acceptance of the policies outlined on the website.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a customer reaches out, we schedule a call to talk details and the scope & style of the project. We look at a date and time for the session. Once the non-refundable booking fee is paid, your session is booked and locked in. Your photo shoot is fully guided and is tethered to a monitor, which enables us to see and make adjustments during the shoot as needed. This way you have the assurance that we have what you want before the end of your session. Image Selection & Ordering - Once selections are made, images are then color corrected & retouched to look natural and un-retouched. All of your personal characteristics are kept intact, removing non-permanent features like under eye bags, blemishes, redness, facial lines, stray hairs, brightening of teeth and eyes. Once retouched images are approved I give you a variety of crops for maximum usage. Image Delivery - your final selections are delivered digitally via a dropbox link. Photos are typically ready anywhere from 4 to 5 business days.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I fell in love with photography in high school and studied Commercial Photography at the Art Institute of Seattle in the late 90's. I attend ongoing workshops and classes as well.
