Ed replaced the siding on one side of our house and removed and covered some windows that faced the neighbor’s house affording us more privacy. To save us money on our cedar siding Ed went above and beyond by finding a vendor in Portland Or with the best price. This required him to take a day driving to and from Portland from our home in Tacoma. The old siding was removed, the windows torn out, repairs were made to a supporting structure that had wet rot, the new siding was installed and the interior walls repaired and textured.
I happily threw out the blinds that never opened. I now have more wall space to hang some collectibles that had been stored under a bed.
My husband is happy knowing the rot he discovered under a soft spot has been repaired and the siding now lays in a position that will make the underlying structures less susceptible to infiltration by the brutal rains we experience in our area.
Despite some severe weather we were experiencing, Ed bundled up and kept working until the job was done.
That’s what I call professionalism and dedication!
We liked the work he did on our house so much, we hired him to do more work on another project we’re trying to finish up. He has been very patient helping us problem solve some work a previous contractor had botched up.
I would never hesitate to recommend Ed to anyone I know who’s looking for a good contractor.
