FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the service provided. So although these services are priced here, everything is subject to change based on what you ask of me. My pricing is based on: preparation, (research, location scouting, consultation, etc.) performance, (the shooting, editing, and design if applicable) my experience (10+ years, schooling, etc.) and my equipment ($5000+). I'm a relatively low-budget photographer so I do my best to work with all my clients, but as this is my means of living, I won't sell myself short. If you're here that means my work probably caught your eye, so I hope you see my worth the same as I do! PRICES –Portrait sessions (i.e. headshots, modeling portfolio, etc.) are going to start at $150 an hour. –Creative sessions(i.e. album covers for artists, shoots that involve set design and/or research) is going to start at $200 an hour. –Product sessions (product photography) start at $20 PER IMAGE (flat rate of $100) –Architectural/Residential (homes, buildings, apartments, etc.) range from $175-$350 DEPOSITS I will always ask for a nonrefundable $50 security deposit (which is deducted from the total cost of your shoot). This is done so that I know my potential client is serious and that in case something happens, I am still somewhat paid for the legwork prior to our session. Your session is not booked until your deposit is paid. I also use Square for those who may not have their deposit readily available. For this to work you will book through my Square Appointments page and include your card information. In the event of a last minute rescheduling/cancellation the deposit will be deducted from the card on file.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will always ask you what you're looking for first! This is very important because I want to make sure that I have your vision in mind when as we create, but I also want to make sure it's something I can get done efficiently. I usually do this by having clients share pinterest boards or some of their favorite photos with me so that I can have a general idea. I'll want to know about what you plan on wearing, your makeup, the location you have in mind, etc. prior to shooting as well! I am very big on preparing for my sessions beforehand so that I can always put my best foot forward! I try to make every session as smooth and comfortable as possible, so the day of the shoot I'll always have some stock poses in my photos or my pinterest for my clients who may be feeling a little camera shy or aren't very experienced with taking photos. After a session my turnaround time is 1-2 weeks! (dependent upon the season) I'll be sure to send images throughout the duration of the editing process just to make sure we're headed in the right direction, but once all images are edited, they're shared through a Google Drive link! It will have all the photos from our session with the exception o any poor quality ones. Then we're done!
