Maybe I am an exception, but my experience with Amberlyn was subpar throughout. I did not have a large wedding event to be photographed, so maybe that was the issue. I felt good with the initial communication and made an advance payment as per policy. After that, post follow up I was told 1 day before the event that something urgent had come up (understandable) and that another photographer would be clicking the photos. We got our final photos a full month after the event after I followed up. To my surprise, the photos did not look like they went through post-processing at all, and looked like what the ‘auto-fix’ on an iPhone would do. Moreover, photos of many guests and family members were missing outright. I asked for more photos so that atleast I could have photos of everyone that came to the event. Amberlyn was kind enough to share the raw photos which typically photographers don’t do, but by that time we had had enough of a bad experience. Now we have hundreds of raw photos that we need to post-process ourselves.

Prasanthi has been super responsive from the point I posted request in thumbtack and been super enthusiastic about the entire event. She has great inputs on not just the photography but on other aspects of party too. She has taken lot of pics all through the party capturing all the great moments. She delivered work as committed and has been great to work with.
