Heather is a phenomenal photographer. Not only is she skilled at taking breathtaking shots, she will make you have the best experience and is an absolute NECESSITY to have around on your wedding day. We were a little nervous in looking for a photographer who would be willing to photograph our same-sex wedding. However, Heather was not simply “willing,” she was enthusiastic and compassionate throughout the day, making us feel completely at ease. She radiates joy and sunshine, and knows exactly how to spark emotions to capture beautiful photographs: we couldn’t be happier with them. Heather made us laugh and have so much fun—it was truly an unforgettable experience. Heather is very professional yet personal. She did our wedding photos and we were so happy with the photos. She had creative ideas to maximize poses and scenery, but more than that we were surprised to see so many candid pictures where we never even remembered seeing her take them. My husband and I agreed she was a photo ninja, flitting about and capturing EVERYTHING. I can't recommend her services enough. All our guests loved her, she's very easy to take direction from and gets great shots every time!

Heather did an amazing job on our family photos! My husband is in a wheelchair and she came to our home and made it easy for him to be included. We have gotten so many compliments on the photos as they hang in our home! She didn't just take good pictures she truly captured our personalities! We will definitely use her again!

Heather is such a doll and we couldn’t be happier with our photos. She has taken photos for me for the past three years, ranging from engagement to family to wedding to maternity to newborn through a year!!! Her work is phenomenal and her demeanor and personality truly make the photographing experience memorable! She is so patient with kids and knows exactly how to gauge the best shot, even when there are some uncooperative babies! We can’t say enough good things about her and her work!!! How did you get started doing this type of work?
I knew I wanted to be a photographer 12 years ago when I had my senior photos taken. I watched my photographer who would later become my mentor, Sara, conduct my session and I knew that's what I wanted to do with my life.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I am a joyful photographer that loves to work with joyful people.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A really important aspect of finding a photographer is finding someone that will celebrate you and make you feel comfortable on camera. There are so many technically talented photographers out there but I always advise clients to also get a feel for your photographer's energy and heart to make sure that the session is also really fun, joyful, and brings out the best in you so there's also a wonderful memory attached to them. Taking photos should be fun!
