Introduction
If you've lost your speaking or singing voice, or you want to get ready for an audition, I'm your teacher! I transform people with injured or painful voices into full, healthy singers and speakers. I teach in-person in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and online to all other locations! Bring power to your voice, learn to take fuller breaths, and recover from covid-related voice loss or other vocal injuries. As we continue to work with your jazz, rock, or pop songs, we'll have you singing with style like you never lost any range at all. Or are do you need help bringing fullness to your voice or managing performance nerves as you or your child preps for an audition? I can help you interpret the song, learn how to support your voice, work on belting, or bringing emotion into your sound, both for the audition and throughout performance prep. Get in touch today to schedule a free consultation! This is a BIPOC, LGBTQ+, & neurodivergent friendly voice studio.

I learned and experienced more about my vocal chords in the 30 minute lesson than I ever had. Feeling them engage and vibrate was pretty cool.

On the day of my album recording I was having trouble with a verse and vocal control. When I reached out to Rachel Austin for her service, she instantly had tips for me. We practiced over the phone together, and, when I put her super comprehensive advice into play, I was able to discover and fix my dilemma! I highly recommend her as an esteemed vocal coach who will listen and help in any case!

Rachel is great to work with! She really helped me understand more about my voice, breath control and body through her extensive knowledge. I opened up with my creativity in our time working together and developed a solid vocal warm up routine that I carry with me to this day. I'd highly recommend Rachel!
