I am a photographer based in Virginia Beach.
I love working with people on their celebrations, parties, weddings, events, etc. I love so many aspects of photography, and the challenges and rewards it provides. The fondness I have for teamwork, big events, and creativity is still so evident in my photography.
My life story and how I came into photography is a windy road, and I'll spare you the details. I was a ski coach for the US Olympic Team when I decided that I wanted to spend more time at home in a warmer climate, get married, and challenge myself in a whole new way.
Photography has dared me to confront the world in a much different way and helped me enjoy my surroundings, cope with my fears, and ease (a little) of my social awkwardness :). I truly could not imagine doing anything else!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I want to tailor a photography to your needs so you're getting what you want, without what you don't. I don't tack on extra fees, so I try to give you my final price upfront and ASAP.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to find a mutual understanding of our goals going into the shoot. I want to know their style and what they like so I can implement that into my style.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a successful landscape and action photographer for a decade, shooting advertising images in the outdoor industry. Since moving to Virginia Beach three years ago, that's allowed me to branch out into weddings and families. Meeting new people and becoming a part of the community here has been amazing!
