Henry did a fantastic job! Very patient, and had lots of great ideas for poses and areas to shoot at the location, for best lighting and such. Highly recommend, I will be using him for my next daughter’s senior pictures!! Turn around time was within a week, and we had tons of shots in the gallery. Really, cannot recommend him enough!

I really enjoyed working with Henry. When I messaged him, he always responded in a timely manner. He listened to my photography need, which was a little more challenging because it involved my 90 year old mother who has vascular dementia, along with a large family group. I was very pleased with his work and he caught some intimate moments between my mother and family members that will be treasured. The cost was very reasonable and he worked with me on pricing based on my need. I would not hesitate to use Henry again for future needs.

Henry is a brilliant photographer with a confident, easy-going personality that makes him a pleasure to work with. We decided to list our triplex ourselves, but we were concerned with the photography portion of the listing. My iPhone photos weren't showing the beauty of the building, and I knew we needed professional help. From his Thumbtack profile, Henry seemed like the right fit, and after our initial conversation (3 minutes after I hit "enter" on my Thumbtack request!) I knew we'd made the right choice. Henry asked questions to determine exactly what we were looking for and he proposed solutions that we might not have considered. Because we wanted our backyard to be photographed at night (the lights make it magical) but wanted everything else done during the day, Henry dropped by at dusk the day before the photo shoot and snagged the backyard pictures. They were indeed magical. On the day of the photoshoot, he showed up on time and we went through each room and talked about what angles we wanted. He was also super patient as we scurried around moving pieces out of the shot line. In addition to the shots we discussed, Henry used his own creativity to come up with shots that showcased the unique beauty of our building. After he'd packed up, we realized we needed one more type of shot, so he quickly unpacked and got them. I'd seen a few sneak peeks from his camera, so I knew the pictures were going to be fantastic, but nothing prepared me for the gallery that was emailed within 24 hours. My entire family was stunned at how gorgeous they turned out. The property sold in a day and I am CONVINCED Henry's photography was a key component of its success!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
After you reach out, I will give you a price based on your needs. This is an upfront price that includes the photoshoot, travel, and all of the edited photos in the end. Unlike many photographers, we don't charge extra per edited photo after the photoshoot.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially we can have a quick chat over the phone to make sure we're a good fit and can arrange a date that works for both of us. Then we will keep communication open and do the photoshoot at the arranged time, hopefully parting as friends. After that you will receive your professionally edited photos in a beautiful online gallery where you can print, download, and share them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained in wedding and portrait photography by Susan Stripling, one of the worlds top wedding photographers based out of Brooklyn, NY. In addition to that I have received training under Miles Witt Boyer, one of my personal favorite portrait and wedding photographers from Arkansas who is internationally known for his work and as a Fujifilm Creator. Additionally, I've had a lifetime passion for photography that drives me to constantly learn and grow in the craft.
