- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounts for work that entails multiple days in the case of conferences/conventions or in the example of my headshot services the more people per session the greater the discount per person. The best way to be sure you are seeing the correct quote for your service needs is to send me all the details and I will be happy to reply with a custom quote. Thumbtack only allows for very static/rigid type pricing when quoting so it is worth your time to reach out and seek clarity. Just keep in mind that volume and/or more time needed equate to greater discounts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I seek clarity and details from each client to be sure we cover and provide the images and deliverables you are expecting. I send preparation tip sheets for all my headshot clients and detailed shot list requests to all my conference/convention clients. I am very much about communication and clarity prior to arrival on site so there are no missed opportunities or surprises.
