I couldn’t be happier that I found this company. I have a mice problem in the attic. The technician John is super nice. I’ve dealt with many contractors in the past few months on different projects, what a difference. He was excellent, professional, knowledgeable, honest. No pushy sales, provided me with options and advices. This is truly the best experience I have had with service providers for a long time.

Today John performed an inspection of my son’s bedroom. I contacted Potomac Pest company yesterday evening and they were able to accommodate me right away. John was very professional and prompt. Worth mentioning today we had snow fall early morning and they still showed up. Luckily no bed bugs were found upon inspection. Thank you for an exceptional responsiveness

John responded to our call very quickly. He listened to our story and asked clarifying questions to ensure it was something he could fix for us. We felt that he had a good understanding of the problem, which we thought was bed bugs. He arrived on time and we explained the situation in more detail showing him around the house. He then carried out an extremely thorough inspection of the house, particularly the beds and our clothing and even our suitcases. He found no sign of bed bugs but did find evidence of mites which had probably caused our problem. He recommended a spray to target those mites, which was significantly cheaper than the bed bug spray we were expecting. We feel this is a testament to his honesty and integrity. He then carried out the spraying and was very patient while we rounded up the cats into a safe room, where they had to stay for 2 hours. The spray had no smell. He has offered a guarantee on his work and said he would come back for a second spray for free if needed. We have no hesitation in highly recommending John for this work.

Made a call in the morning for a potential carpenter ant issue, and John (technician) was able to come out that afternoon. John was extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and most importantly, honest. He gave me his honest assessment given our situation, which actually meant opting to not get any treatment and taking a wait and see approach. He was thorough in his inspection, gave us some tips and suggestions, and was very friendly throughout the experience. If I need help in the future, there's only one person/company I'm going to!
