FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We here at Dancemasters Ballroom want our students to get the greatest bang for their buck. We keep our prices low and are extremely competitive when it comes to lessons. Private lessons for new students normally range from $65 to $90 per hour. Group classes are a standard fee of $10 per hour. We also offer weekly and monthly socials that do not require a commitment and are also only $10 per person.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact and the students are scheduled in for a private lesson, I ask them why they decided to learn to dance? In order to help my customers, I must first find out what are their goals. I then introduce them to the four basic elements of learning to dance and explain how using one or more of the elements makes up any and all dances. Then I explain that when you learn using my method you not only learn the desired dance but learn faster when you apply the elements in other dances.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began as a dance instructor in a special training class for instructors. From the beginning I was taught to dance both male and female roles unlike so many instructors that began as students. I'm not only a dance teacher but a motivator and a springboard for my students. Helping to reach goals whether short term or long term is important in the service industry.
