I hired Alex Kirpichenko of AAK Contractor to put in a backsplash over my kitchen sink. It was a small but exacting job because the backsplash was a photograph of an Italian landscape projected onto ceramic tile. From the very beginning I was most impressed with Alex's knowledge, authority, and efficiency. I had at first planned just to install the backsplash itself, but after discussing it with Alex decided it would look best surrounded by more tile, extending the full length of the walls under the cabinets. I had thought beige tile would be best, but Alex guided me to a pale blue gray stone, which brought out the beauty of the photograph in a way that beige wouldn't have. He also suggested that the backsplash be surrounded with strips of polished stone of the same color, giving the effect of a window. I really do feel as if I were gazing through a window on a peaceful Tuscan scene! The finished product has surpassed my expectations, and has warmed up my white and stainless-steel kitchen. And because of the window effect, the kitchen seems larger. The job took just a few days from start to finish and the price was reasonable, considering the high quality of the work. I would certainly use AAK Contractor again and would have no hesitation in recommending the company to others.

Alex and his team did an excellent job with remodeling my bathroom. They finished 2 days early and arrived on time daily. I appreciated the ongoing communication about my project and his helpful demeanor. I absolutely love my bathroom and would refer Alex to my neighbors/friends/family. I am halfway through with my project with AAK and I am VERY impressed. Alex and his team have been extremely prompt with EVERY appointment - always one minute early, never one minute late. Alex and his team did a very thorough assessment, through two site visits before we executed a contract. So far, I have been VERY impressed with his professionalism, and excellence with execution. Very efficient, very professional. The project is not done yet, but so far so good. They are ahead of schedule, and doing great work. I will update review after completion.

We were in a challenging position - we had already ordered IKEA cabinets, and were looking for a short turnaround time on completing our kitchen. Alex did a great job, at a great price, and was able to deliver on a tight time frame for us. As issues came up, he found solutions and dealt with the issues without complaint. He also offered a number of very good suggestions that made our kitchen more functional and attractive. We are looking forward to using Alex in our next place - although this time we will be smart and not order IKEA cabinets!
