Hello, my name is Donita! I’m a children’s author, motivational speaker, and a liturgical, modern, and praise, hip-hop, line dancer, and costume entertainer. I wrote my first children’s book in 2020. Giving so much encouragement, tools, imagination and love, mixed with a little black girl magic, have been one of the most enjoyable experiences yet. Studying, learning, and performing the art of dance for over seventeen years, has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. I was born October 01, 1991 in the District of Columbia. I’m also a mother of a very beautiful family. I was introduced to Liturgical and praise hip-hop dance back in 2002, in a small city called Grand Rapids, Michigan. From there, the love, the motivation, and the passion for dance became unbreakable. Knowing the work and the art of God transforming the lives of all, gets me at a joyous place that I never want to leave from! There was a point and time when my life took a whole 360 turn. A turn that I let play on my mind, my heart, and my soul. A turn that I allowed to make me feel less and worthless of anything. But in the end, I took back my power, my strength, and my God, and I made that turn remember who I’am… That turn molded me into a motivational speaker.. My prayer and encouragement for all… Whatever it’s that takes you to that place with God, self, and community, “Run with it, and never look back!”
