- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My portrait sessions are $300 for up to 1 hour at a location of your choice within Salt Lake City. Weddings/events vary based on number of locations, number of hours, and number of guests. However, anyone that has signed with me for a wedding, I offer an engagement and/or bridal session for $250 each ($50 off normal). Additionally, if any wedding or event is paid up front in full, I offer a 10% discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically will first speak via messenger here on Thumbtack, text, or a phone call. For weddings, I like to meet with the couple prior to the wedding at least once if I am not the engagement photographer also. For families and couples, we discuss a location, date, and time prior to the shoot and meet in person at the shoot unless otherwise requested.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken workshops and classes related to various aspects of photography, but most of my knowledge has been self learned. The fun thing about photography is that there is never an end to learning what you can do with it, both in camera and in post processing.
