FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offering hourly consulting and comprehensive packages depending on your needs in the college counseling process. Once we chat, I can determine what options might be right fit for your student.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is offering a free 30 minute consult to all new customers to learn more fully about your needs and what you are looking for in the college process. This information will allow me to determine what services your student might need from My College Advocate. Whether you are looking for guidance in the essay writing process or wanting a comprehensive experience, My College Advocate can address your educational needs. Once a service or package is determined, My College Advocate will work one-on-one with your student via Zoom.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked on both sides of the desk of the college admission process. My work as an Associate Director of Admission at Ohio Wesleyan allowed me to read thousands of applications and interview countless eager and ambitious students. After six years in the position, I transitioned to working as an Associate Director of College Counseling at Groton School where I worked with students to navigate the application process with clarity, confidence, and success. These two work experiences have provided invaluable insight on what to anticipate and look for in the application review process.
