FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
one of the main things they do is the “ Contract Or loyalty discount” Basically, if you have more than one task or project, and I take care of the first one and you call me back for the second, I will show you what the original price would be and then I will give you a discount for bringing me back again because I like creating and building relationships with customers also and willing to give discounts for veterans Who can prove that they were active In addition, if people are on a fixed income and willing to do a payment plan and or trade, if need be so that they can get their needs met are there goes accomplished there’s nothing better in life and to be able to sit back and know that that person is so much happier, and so much more comfortable Also, I work with nonprofit organizations quite frequently, so if someone has a desperate need, I’m willing to work with them
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially, I like to meet with the customer on site and evaluate the project with the owner. For my process it is important that I understand what your vision is for the project to have a better layout, a scope of work and an action plan. I like to have an understanding of your budget so I can try and stay within that from the beginning. I’m personally against the game. Some contractors play where they shoot real high with a number and then there’s that back-and-forth. I’m of the mind where you tell me what it is that you want and what you can afford and I get close to that as possible because ultimately my goal is to give you the very best product possible. I want it to meet your parameters exactly whenever possible. While I’m there, I will make it a point to get a good gauge of your overall goal. For example, if you have any dishes that you’re going to because it is crucial that I focus on what’s important to you, that way, we don’t miss anything and when the job is all said and done you find yourself happy every time you look at it Next I will send the estimate with a rough timeline laid out. Each estimate I tentatively work a position in my schedule that I can start on and rough timeline. As far as logistically goes bid concept when I do an estimate contracts and deposit as soon as you have contract is signed and deposit in hand I like to order supplies because of corona. We’ve had so many issues with receiving shipments. I don’t like my customers to have to wait then we do the build. And do payments in increments throughout the course, even a small percentage for a final walk-through to get approval at the very end. Once I’ve completed, I like to have my customer fill out a questionnaire, and even write a review physically and digitally.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken a number of courses to aid in the managing of projects through the years, as well as OSHA 10 hours, my sewer, water, SWPPPs, and pollution prevention. I am trained formally in nine different pieces of equipment so that I can completely operate and do minor repairs. Also I am forklift and sky track certified. My general contracting courses included my B and E, and my E 100 license.
