FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is tailored to reflect the scope of work involved, including pre-production, production, and post-production efforts. Projects with simpler requirements or quicker turnarounds will cost less, while more complex projects may be priced higher. Travel requirements may also affect the overall cost. I strive to maintain competitive pricing within market standards and offer flexibility to discuss and negotiate the best option for your budget. Transparency is important to me, so don’t hesitate to reach out for a personalized quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process begins with an in-depth discussion about your project to understand your vision and expectations. This initial consultation can be done through messages or, preferably, a phone call for a clearer, more personalized approach. During this conversation, we will cover essential details such as the project type, date, location, and deliverables, ensuring I know exactly what equipment and strategies to use for optimal results. After the details are settled and the project day arrives, I focus on delivering a seamless, professional shoot. Post-shoot, I prioritize fast editing turnaround times, often providing the final product within a day (or even the same day in some cases). Payment terms are straightforward, with a down payment or contract discussed for larger projects to ensure mutual trust and commitment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education and training are extensive and well-rounded, encompassing both ground and aerial (drone) photography and videography. Here’s a summary: Ground Photography/Videography: 1. TV Cameraman Certification: I graduated from the Ukrteleradiopresinstytut (Ukrainian TV/Radio/Press Institute) in Kyiv, Ukraine, where I gained a solid foundation in photography and videography. My training covered composition (e.g., Rule of Thirds, Golden Ratio), lighting, storytelling, and hands-on practice in diverse settings (e.g., portraits, landscapes, architecture, and black-and-white photography). 2. Additional Film Education: I completed the Tomorrow’s Filmmakers Online Film School, which further advanced my skills in modern photography and videography techniques. I also completed courses from Pilot Institute, focusing on real estate photography and videography. 3. Industry Training: I received personal training from Ukrainian cinematographer Sergey Mikhalchuk, where I deepened my understanding of professional equipment, cinematic techniques, and production workflows. I also observed and participated in the filming of the movie "Dovbush," gaining first-hand insights into high-level film production. Aerial/Drone Photography/Videography: 1. FAA Part 107 and EASA A1/A3 Certifications: I am a certified commercial drone pilot in both the USA and Europe, allowing me to operate drones legally and safely. All of my drones are insured. 2. Professional Drone Cinematography: I completed a specialized program in Drone Cinematography at Ukrteleradiopresinstytut in Kyiv, as well as private drone schools in Ukraine, which focused on various applications like real estate photography, surveying, mapping, and intensive drone cinematography. 3. Advanced Equipment and Techniques: My training includes operating diverse types of drones (thermal, FPV, fixed-wing, and cinematic) for a range of projects, from real estate to weddings, events, and construction documentation. 4. Professional Experience: I’ve been actively working in photography and videography since 2019, taking on projects in real estate, social media content, commercial shoots, weddings, and construction. I’m also experienced in post-production work, including video editing, color grading, sound design, and 3D effects. My hands-on approach to each project is driven by both my technical skills and creative vision, and I am confident in delivering exceptional results, no matter the project's complexity.
