FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer flat rate pricing. If it takes us 1 hour to make a repair at one house but 4 hours to make the same repair at another home, it will be the same price. Our prices will cover labor, material and the cost of doing business. With the requirements in the State of Texas for insurance and licensing, the cost of running a plumbing service company can be expensive, if you are doing it correctly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We evaluate the issue you called for, then inspect any plumbing that may be related to the issue. All plumbing is connected in one way or another. When we determine what needs to happen, we will give you options to repair, replace what issues we found. We ask a lot of questions. We need to know what your wants and needs are and find out what is important to you so we can give you the best options we have available.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It takes 8000 hours working under a Master Plumber to be eligible to take your Journeyman exam. Typically takes 6-8 hours for the exam. After you get your Journeyman License, you have to hold you license in good standing for 4 calendar years before being eligible to take your Master Plumber exam. Another 6-8 hour exam. At a minimum, you have 8 years in the trade before you can become a Master Plumber. Plumbing Licenses matter!
