My name is Ariana Quick, and I am hard of hearing and have been since birth. Learned sign language at the age of 12, and still now, as an adult, I prefer to use sign language to communicate. Why do I teach ? Because I love seeing my students express themselves in sign language and their excitement of understanding the language brings a smile on my face and a smile on their face as well. That's my favorite thing. My goal is for you to reach your potential to understand those in the deaf community and able to hold a conversation. I teach and tutor all levels. All ages. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process with new consumers confirm the schedule they would like to book and then they will receive via email everything they need for class and then they are all set.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started since the pandemic teaching as a group setting virtually and then my private one on one started last year 2021. Although I have previously back in school i have helped my interpreters back in school with teaching teachers some basics signs.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with all ages and all levels are welcome as well.
