I honestly did not want to make this review. I text Deon, waited for his response and tried to negotiate fair cost including the price I paid for the toilet and installation cost, along with 1/2 the warranties on the several additional items Deon installed. With this being said, it would break all ties between us and him no longer having anything to do with these items. But everything was to no avail.
First, Deon lacks communication skills, he doesn't respond to messages in a timely manner (days/weeks/months). Next, as for my installation, he broke my toilet and caulked the piece on. He admitted he should have seen it but "overlooked it" and offered to buy another toilet since the toilet was brand new. He never did. Then Deon tried to place blame on the company for the toilet being broken. Nevertheless, if the toilet was broken upon opening, why didn't he mention it then vs installing it anyways? Because of this I had to file a complaint against Deon.
He mentioned he would no longer want to service my item due to lack of trust (which is true), and with no servicing of the toilet, his 2-year warranty on parts/labor is no longer valid. Now if something goes wrong, I now will need to hire another PRO. Not to mention, Deon installed other items which now their warranties also are null.
To anyone who is hiring him - CHECK HIS WORK BEFORE HE LEAVES. Because Deon will not want to refund (because as he stated to me - it still works). Who wants a NEW broken toilet regardless of if it works? Now, he only wants to refund me 1/2 of what I paid for the toilet ($75), although that's not what he initially stated in his text message. Also, he does not care nor consider it was a brand-new toilet and the installation cost I paid to him. Unfortunately, if I want to redo it, it will cost me that plus more to buy another toilet including additional installation costs.

UPDATE: Deon has NOW lied to Thumbtack stating I provided him the toilet and the toilet was not broken when he installed it! Deon picked up the toilet from the store himself and brought it to my house. And per his messages attached and per his own admittance - it's obviously a lie that is wasn't broken when it was installed.

This is the second time I have used Sadat Plumbing. The gentlemen were excellent, purchased the toilets (3) I needed and installed them. They were on time, professional and work was excellent. Very reasonable on pricing. Paid less than half the price for 2 toilets that were previously installed with a large company. Will definitely be using them for all plumbing needs. Highly recommended.
