I have done this a long time, am very good at it and it is my full time career and I love it.
All my work is guaranteed, if I made a mistake or equipment failure for some very rare reason you will never pay, I shoot multiple shots and cameras to help account for this type of error. if its an editing preference those edits are made. I will never require final payment until you approve all media.
Have a couple of dings to my ratings, so adding this. Wedding photography and videography will take extra time to edit, because those memories are that important to you. I do send a few quick edits for announcement purposes, but the full set can take weeks and weeks, especially when editing large amounts of photos. For most other events next day tournament is common. Please lets discuss turnaround time prior to booking. Customer service is important and so are beautiful photos and video, which does take time to edit.

Lee Beckman was the videographer for my daughter’s wedding, and he was wonderful to work with. He was responsive, easy to communicate with, and professional throughout the entire process.
He arrived early, set up cameras in positions, and captured all the key moments of the ceremony, reception, and speeches. He worked diligently throughout the event and delivered the first set of footage the very next day, which was incredibly fast. He even prepared an edited version for me, which I truly appreciated.
I am very happy with what I received and would gladly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and professional videographer.

Great photographer, great vibe! I loved working with Lee. It was great to have an experienced professional who pretty much just knows how weddings go, what to capture and is just chill, laid back and gets the job done. It goes a long way to easing all the other stresses that pop up on a wedding day. Lee has a real eye, and captured the day, the sentiment, our quirkiness, and I have not stopped looking at the photos and watching the wedding video since he sent them!
Booking - no muss, no fuss - discussed logistics and price via email and done. The deposit is super reasonable, as was the overall quote.
Planning - I had to provide a shot list for my first wedding; Lee is so experienced all I really had to do was mention the general flow and a few key things that were different/important and then we were set.
Day of - Lee was prompt and chill. Not everything on my side was perfectly on schedule but Lee had no problem going between hotel and venue (across the street) to set things up, sort out his own logistics and then come to me for getting-ready photos and then go back to venue to set up first-look shots. I really felt that Lee was there for me, whatever I needed, all I had to do was ask.
At the wedding - Lee was super flexible. We had some weather in the morning and then the sun started to peek out right as the ceremony was about to start. Lee got with the venue crew and moved things around right then so that we could do the ceremony outdoors.
Turnaround time - proofs in a day or two, and video in about a week. He also timed a nice little highlight slideshow to some raw audio that I asked him to pull for me.
I don't know what major life events I have next that will require a photographer, but whenever they do pop up, it's only Beckmann Media for me.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lee! If we could rate him on all five areas, we would! He did a beautiful job for our family wedding, and he was incredibly timely in making the photos available to us! We received some the very next morning and the rest within the week! He was very accommodating and easily adapted to all of our changes due to weather! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try and make the entire process less complicated, including pricing. I tend to charge a flat rate range based on needs. If that changes for any reason I discuss with client why and how to keep costs low. I understand budget and willing to work with clients as needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am patient and want to explain the process, needs and expectations. I need to get to know the need, be it a logo, print material, website or other media project. I encourage questions want to make the client happy. I do my share of hand- holding when needed. I try and offer clarity to what can be overwhelming when starting a business.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not much changes with designing a logo, I used pen and pencil in the good old days and then transferred to the digital world. The web however is always changing, I need to always stay up to date on trends and technology and do so via podcast and news.I use the latest software and updated hardware to keep up to date on the latest tools to design. My formal education is in psychology and all art/media/marketing training if from life/professional experience and informal training.
