- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job has unique qualities that require different price points. For larger, less complex projects I start off with the square footage and base my estimate on that. Smaller jobs with more intricacies are typically based on a basic hourly estimate. I always try to get as close to the client's budget as I can when offering my services. Clients want a great value, so that is something I make a priority.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a first time customer I always fully explain my process. I believe very strongly that the customer should know and understand every step of the project so they never feel like they are "in the dark". Clear communication is the only way to ensure the project gets done exactly how the customer wants it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 12 years experience in the remodeling/renovation business. My areas of focus have been on floor repair and replacement with all the different products, back splash and shower tiling, and stair remodeling.
