FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing isn't fixed, whether we are talking about design, installation, lawn maintenance or even lawn pest control. Every homeowner has a different need and therefore a different cost of each. Designs start at $500, installations typically start at about $1,000, maintenance work usually begins at $55 per visit, and lawn pest control usually starts at $75 per visit. All services require me to charge sales tax, except for designs, which isn't a taxable service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process with working with a new customer isn't complicated. Having an onsite visit to determine customer needs and basically allowing the customer to interview me and I interview them if they are going to be a good fit to be my customer. I don't take every single job, I am selective on who I work with, I have said no to customers in the past. After meeting the customer, we review the project, go over timelines on how long it may take to complete, I always provide an estimate free of charge for the work that will be done and once approved, depending on the project, a deposit is collected. Then, the customer is scheduled for the work to begin and once completed, final payment is rendered. We do follow up visits on every project to make sure things are the way they should be. Any changes need to be communicated prior to completion and any hiccups will be communicated. Our company works with the homeowner as part of the team to make sure their outdoor space is exactly what they want.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
