FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $40/hr for everything so there are no surprises. This means that I charge the same rate for setting up, recording, producing, playing instruments for your project, mixing and mastering, etc. No additional charges means you always know what to expect and you dictate how many hours you want to spend at the studio. You want to record for a couple of hours? Sure, no problem. You feel adventurous and want to book me on a Saturday for a whole day? No problem!!! I can work the hours you need according to your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a couple of ways to approach every new project. On bigger projects, some require a consultation prior to starting to talk about expectations and ways I may be able to help ideas become a reality. Consultations are always FREE of charge with no obligation. On smaller projects like vocals-only recordings, we usually just dive in on the first day of the appointment. It is really up to YOU if you want a consultation prior to starting the project. On vocals-only projects I am usually able to mix and master on the spot if it's only one or two songs that are being recorded.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a ProTools Production Certificate specializing in Music Production. As mentioned before, I play guitar, drums, bass, keys, and can help with harmonies on your vocals.
