- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally offer small risk opportunities for the customer to build trust. Example: I can provide for them a smaller size job so they can experience my character and workmanship. After trust is established, they we can work up into larger jobs and grow. I also offer decisive action discounts. If you approve the estimate and pay the upfront payment within 24-48 hours I offer a large discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I call the customer and schedule a time to meet in person and look at their problem with them. I offer an estimate on the spot. And I follow up with them at their pace.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m educated by YouTube, Mr Fence! Trained by carpenters when I helped build the Chosen set in Midlothian. Mentored by home builders while I lived in Colorado. Learned about fence construction from demo and replacement; I have seen how excellent and poor craftsmanship impacts the longevity and the integrity of a fence structure.
