FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a range of products that can fit different budgets. We offer fair pricing with seasonal discounts, which can help customers save money on their projects. Additionally, we provide financing options to customers, including no-interest short-term financing with offers ranging from 12 to 48 months. We also offer unsecured financing with a repayment period of 7 to 10 years, which can be used as an alternative to a home equity loan. However, it's important to note that specific pricing and financing options may vary depending on the project and the customer's individual needs. It's recommended that customers communicate clearly with The Design House about their budget and expectations to get an accurate quote and learn about any available financing options. Overall, The Design House appears to strive to offer transparent and flexible pricing and financing options to customers, in addition to a high level of service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1.) INITIAL MEASURE AND CONSULTATION- This is usually 30- 60 minutes. We will look at your space, define the scope of work, and then talk about the details of your desired project. We take pictures and measurements and prepare all the information for a baseline proposal. 2. PROPOSAL- Our estimators will create the proposal based on the scope of work and products selected. Larger projects involving multiple trades may take up to two weeks to return. Once the proposal is complete, your designer will share this baseline proposal with you. 3. DESIGN COLLABORATION- You will pay a design and rendering fee dependent upon the project size. This fee covers the initial rendering of the space and one revision leading to the final. Once all edits are made to the renderings and the proposal, we are ready to go into contract. 4. CONTRACT- Once approved, you will sign your contract and pay 50% of the contract total or materials, whichever is greater. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards and offer financing. Any project over $20,000 is subject to a draw schedule if not financed. 5. PROJECT EXECUTION & CONSTRUCTION- This is the most exciting phase! You will receive a welcome email introducing you to your dedicated scheduler and project manager, who will be by your side throughout your remodel journey. Our team will begin orchestrating your project from ordering to installation. This is when all that you dreamt of begins to come together. 6. COMPLETION - Once your project is complete, your project manager will walk through the project with you to list any items that need attention. We call this a punch list. We will schedule a date and time to take care of the punch list as swiftly as possible.
