Great experience and the cost is nothing compared to all the value and professionalism for my branding shoot! Shermeen is laid back, easy going and just so sweet!
Leading up to the session, there is no guesswork about how everything will go. She sends out reminders and ideas for props to bring! I’m a super anxious type-A personality and felt so incredibly at ease the day of the shoot! I shared some “wish-pics” of the vibe I was going for and she totally nailed it!
During the session, Shermeen was affirming, encouraging, creative and direct with all the feedback you want in a photographer. She gives great direction and instructions to capture the best poses and lighting (move your chin here… let me fix your collar…you have a stray hair… etc.) She shows you the photos as you go, so you can give her feedback on what you like or dislike. This helped her get a better understanding of YOUR VISION, so she can capture more of what you want! She immediately inspires trust and comfort. As someone who is incredibly self-conscious and insecure, I felt completely at ease as soon as we greeted each other.
I’m already mentally planning my next branding shoot with her! This is one of the best photography experiences I have ever had! If you’re on the fence, just do it! So glad I found her on Thumbtack!

I must say…what a great experience Ms. Amin. Since day one, she was very responsive via the app and text, and made the whole booking experience smooth and convenient. During our consultation, she was able to give me great ideas and suggestions to help me decide what I wanted to achieve out of my photo session. I chose to go with an outdoor shoot and I so glad I did. The golden hour lighting was exactly what I wanted.
The actual day of the shoot went great. Ms. Amin and her team were on time and made the whole shoot comfortable. She was very open and transparent with me with my photos and prioritized my feedback in real time, which I really appreciated.
Overall, I am so impressed with the turn around time of the final photos and my experience working with Ms. Amin. She addressed all my photo edit requests and I totally love my professional head shots!
